Due to recent decisions by the government (all three branches) that there is no harm in monitoring internet connections, I have decided that I will stop sending as much unecrypted data over the internet as I can. This means that all torrents, such as FreeBSD ISO torrents, will be encrypted, along with all http requests on my server being redirected to https requests. It turns out that sendmail when transporting e-mail will automaticly use STARTTLS to encrypt the session if the receiving server supports it. I have now set up a self signed cert for sendmail so that incoming email can be encrypted if the sender wants to.
