My sister had a get together at her appartment on June 29th. She invited a number of her friends for some food, alcohol and birthday cake. It was a nice little party and there were even fireworks off in the distance.
Saturday, June 30th, is actually my sisters birthday. My sister wanted a nice dinner, so we went to Chez Panisse in Berkeley, CA. The food and wine there is excelent. For desert we shared a Berry Serbet and we shared some mint tea. The two went wonderful together. My sister also had a desert wine. I took a sip of it and was surprised at how sweet desert wines are.
