In Pattaya, Thailand, we went to the Sanctuary of Truth. An amazing structure made out of wood. It is constantly being worked on and added to.
I hadn't been to the King's Palace in Bangkok, so we took a tour around it. They were getting ready for the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne, so things were pretty busy, and decorations were going up.
We made our first stop in Japana in Kyoto. The busses in Kyoto are an inexpensive way to get around to see the sites. The bus lines visit all the major tourist sites.
Tokyo can take many days to fully explore. We didn't see a half of it the few days that we were there. A number of the museums and places were closed while we were there, so we ended up visiting parks and palaces besides doing a bit of shopping now and then.
Kamakura has some very beautiful sites. It has a much older feel than Kyoto and Tokyo. The Buddha to the right is large enough to have 10 or so people around inside of it.
